Artist Bio Frank Hoeffler’s artistic versatility has taken him from realism, impressionism, expressionism, to abstraction. While preferring to work in oil he also enjoys the nuances of water color. He lets the subject matter determine the medium. Hoeffler born and raised in Wisconsin now lives in Germantown 30 minutes north of Milwaukee, He studied art, graduated from the University of Wisconsin and continues to attend artistic workshops around the country. He is a small business owner and in his off time teaches adult oil painting, judges, juries, lectures and runs workshops for various local artistic leagues. Hoeffler has won several awards over the years for his artwork and has had solo shows from the east coast to the Midwest. His most recent award has been for and abstract painting shown in Wichita, Kansas.
